Help! - to copy files from 5 DVD-RAM discs to an external drive.

I have 5 DVD-RAM discs, MAXELL 5.2 GB Double Sided, with files that I need copied to an external drive. These DVD-RAM drives were found in early 2000's Apple G3 towers, perhaps other machines too.  Thank you.
