Late 2008 MacBook for parts

I have a late 2008 MacBook in which the video card no longer works so neither the screen nor an external monitor will open properly.
I have removed the 2 hard drives (one replaced the optical drive) but left the second HD bracket in place. I also have the original optical drive.
The laptop has been very reliable otherwise and works fine, I have been advised it is not worth repairing, as parts are no longer readily available.
If somebody wants it for parts or to try and revive it, its free for the taking, otherwise its off to recycle Heaven
