Good Morning, Good Morning
It is just beautiful outside,so i'm not going to spend much time on the Computer this morning.
So here goes.
This problem as just started recently.
I have tried Netscape,Safari,and Firefox.
So now i know that it is not the Browsers, as they are all three giving me the same results.
I am with Webmail, i never use to have any problems with Netscape, which i always used.
I click one message and it comes to tell me that there is no subject, eventhough i click on the inbox and my messages will all show up but they will not open when i click on any of them.
This problem only started in the pass while.
I love you people who can help me out with my problems.
Again do not mind my grammar, and my famous phrase (make the explanation simple).
Life is short, please enjoy it.
If you ask what language i speak ?
I speak three Languages (English,French and Profane which i very seldom use.)
But i prefer English.
                                                I Love you People
                                               Have a very good day
                                                      Plume

Yes, it's a nice day for a walk or a bicycle ride.

Which Web mail provider do you use? Gmail? Hotmail? Yahoo? Other?

Sometimes spam e-mail ("pourriel") will not have a subject. You can probably delete such messages.

You should delete the Netscape browser and not use it anymore. It's obsolete for much of the Web in 2010.

Hi Plume

I would echo z-mac. Get rid of Netscape. Even though it may be an old friend, it is not really suited to the internet of today.

Flip a coin to decide if you want to use Safari or FireFox and then stick with just the one. I personally prefer Firefox.

Keep your browser up to date. With Firefox there is a "check for updates"  option under Help. Safari gets updated by Apple software update.

By sticking with just one modern browser you will be able to eliminate any confusion caused by switching from one to the other. It will be easier for us to answer your questions too, since we won't have to worry about which browser you are using!

Good afternoon Mr. Admin
I always get sound advise and i am always open for such.
I have  eliminated Netscape in total.
I will follow your advise and now eliminate Safari.
I will follow the path that you are suggesting that i take, i will definetly keep you posted
of my success one way or another.
Thank you so very much for your interest.
Have a very, very good day

This is just to add fuel to the browser issue...I was trying to register on a Gov Canada website and it wouldn't let me register with Firefox.  I keep several browsers around, tho' not always in use.

z-mac

Which government site was it?

Given that
= the three significant rendering engines on the WWW today are MSIE, Gecko (Firefox, others) and Webkit (Safari, Chrome, others), and
= MSIE is made by a company that never has understood the Internet (ahem, Redmond),

whoever programmed that site needs a smack in the head. I'll bet the site is programmed in .NET, which is a Web framework for people who don't understand Web development.

Safari is a good browser. Although Firefox is a RAM hog, I prefer Firefox because it's available for all the OSs that I use and because of the portability of bookmarks and extensions (I use the extension FEBE to create a back-up set of extensions).

TD Bank, Paypal and a few other sites used to only work with Internet Explorer. However, I have tried them recently with the current version of FireFox and they work fine. Bad design to tie your website to a particular browser!

z-mac

Fortunately for us all, Redmond's influence on the Internet in 2010 is less (and less noxious) than it was in 2005 or 2000.

I've been using Paypal for 10 years, at least 6 years of which have been with Firefox (né Phoenix, Firebird). CIBC and RB have worked with Firefox (and Netscape in the pre-Phoenix days) for a long time, although the CIBC site used to have a couple of minor rendering problems. The Bank Of Loblaws works with Firefox too. (o:

So, Plume, you really can't go wrong using either Firefox or Safari. Either is good. You should of course keep Safari on your Mac even if you don't use Firefox.

If you are using Web-based e-mail and you see rendering problems, we would be very interested in knowing which e-mail service you are using.

Re the govt website, it was Service Canada

Good evening to all
Thank you ever so much for your feed back and your concern.
I'm back and i have not gained anything.
I erased Netscape and started using only Firefox i still did not accomplish anything.
I then erase Safari and of course i had only Firefox left.
So i was looking forward to enjoying the only Browser that i had left.
But to my disapointment Firefox did not give me any or better results, so i am
in distress, for i have all of the same problems.
So now i decided to download and re-install Netscape, with the idea that a fresh downloable
installation would give me better result.
Alas, it did not.
So now i decided to re-install Safari, but i cannot find the Software that will fit my Computer.
Problems, problems, MINE of course and thank you again for making it yours also.
I am still open for suggestions (----------------------------------------------------) this much.
So do not be shy, as i am not.
Could it be my fault? could i have done something that i should not have done?
Could i have touch a key by mistake?
I'm completly baffled that all three Browser are acting the same way.
I am lost for words.
Thank you for all your help
Have a very , very good evening
Thank you to the Admin for also getting involved
I am  truly glad that there are so many people trying to help

z-mac

Plume, do NOT use Netscape. Really!

I was afraid that you would delete Safari... You can download it from here:
http://www.apple.com/safari/download/

For us to understand what the problem is, you will either have to describe the problem in detail or provide screen-captures. (Don't include personal details, of course.)

Good Evening to everyone as i do not wish to leave anyone out.
I will try to explain as best as i can.
I would like to start by telling you how much i appreciate the time that you are giving me.
I had three Browsers at one time and i quote:
Netscape
Safari
Firefox
All three created me the same problem.
I am with Magma or Primus which is where i collect my E-Mail and did not have any problem till just recently.
Please keep in mind that what i am about to try and explain happens with the three Browsers.
I have eliminated Netscape, I downloaded Safari and tried to install only to be told that the software is not compatible with my computer Mac OS X Version 10.5.8.
So as now i am using only Firefox with the same problem.
I will now attempt to explain.
When i want my E-Mails i use to go in to webmail which actualy  is supplied by Primus.
At one time i would just call up my E-Mails and click with the mouse once and i would be able to open the E-Mails.
Now i click and it comes back to tell me that there is no subject, and that is what the problem is.
I have to call up the same E-Mail sometimes three times before it will open so  i can read it.
What bothers me, it did it with the three Browsers.
Hope this helps.
Thank you for your time.
Have a very, very good evening

Please call Primus/Magma support and ask them to help. If neither Firefox nor Safari is working with their mail service, something is definitely wrong.

This means you are using OS X 10.5.x ("Leopard"). Download this version of Safari:

By the amount of people whom i see have read my complaint about E-Mails, (It is
