Clamshell iBook not charging

At your convenience, I would like to meet up with someone that has a working Clamshell iBook with a working battery.  The purpose of this meeting is to determine if my "not charging" problem is due to a defective battery or an internal defect in the iBook itself.
Yes, I have reset the PMU and the iBook power light indicates it is being charged.
