Overview

Maybe you got a new iMac for Christmas. Maybe you got a new Macbook for school. Maybe you just upgraded to Mac OS 10.5 Leopard. What do you need to know about Leopard and how it can make your life easier?

What you will Learn
Whether you just got a new machine or you are a long time Macintosh user who is new to Leopard, this session will take you through some of the Operating System basics and provide some helpful tips to be a better user.

We will cover the use of Time Machine to backup your Machine. You will learn how to setup and maintain your internet connection, and for you Laptop users , how to use Airport in places other than your home. Also we will talk about preventative maintenance and how you can make the repair process smoother.

We will also take a look at some of the basic applications that come with your computer like Mail, Safari, and iChat so you can expand how you use your Mac in your daily life.

It will be a busy session but one that will be very informative. Look forward to seeing you there!
