I downloaded a very a very rare Movie called ( Step Lively ).
But my problem is, the Movie Downloaded as a Video-TS.
Is it possible to be able to burn such a movie ( which is 4GB ) in a DVD Format.
Or can i burn it in any other format, and if so how do i do that.
Make it simple guys, ????????????????
                                                     Thank you

Hi Plume,

Simple question, pretty simple answer. Do you still use Toast? If so, select VIDEO (the middle tab) from the left side of Toast's main window, and then select  "VIDEO_TS Folders" from the list of options. Drag the VIDEO_TS folder to the right-hand content area of the main Toast window. Immediately, a summary of your video's properties will appear in the content area, showing info on the video's length, soundtrack, subtitles, etc. You may also choose an option to "Use Fit-to-DVD video compression" from the bottom of the left-hand column - which then adds an "Options" button to the Summary in the right-hand Contents area. The options allow you to change the video and audio settings, and to preview your finished movie. Of course, this step also makes the DVD "fit", i.e. if your movie is too large to fit a normal DVD, it will compress the file. This can take a while.

If you're not using Toast, there are other methods, but I think this is by far the easiest.

Bonne chance, et

Hi Plume,

So, you're 99% there, because the option to include various languages/subtitles is tucked away inside the "Options" that appear in the summary area after you select "Fit-to-DVD" from the bottom of the left-side list in the main Toast window. Click on the "options" button, and you can select which soundtracks are included/excluded from your finished disk.

Hope that helps...

Happy Mac'ing!

                                            Main (1;28;21,1;3, (NTSC)
                                            Custom
                                        ------------------------------------------
Audio ;  All ( Russian Dolby Stereo, English Dolby Mono
                                        Main,Russian Dolby Stereo

Hope you have an answer for me.

Hi Plume,

You're on the right track, looking in the right place - now you just have to make a choice from those lists for your Audio and Video options. In the case of the video, you would choose "All" if you want to include menus and "extra" video, e.g. previews, special features etc. Choose "Main" if you want JUST the movie - no extras at all. In this case you can choose to add your own menus or just play on insertion. Your choice!

As to the Audio options, looks like you can choose ALL to include all the languages AND subtitles, or just the MAIN, which in this case looks like just Russion - probably not the right option - instead, choose All, then you'll have the option of Russion Stereo or English Mone - your DVD players "Language" option is used to pick which one you want to hear.

Does that help - you're sooooo close!

Happy Mac'ing!

Good Morning to all
I had a few problem with Toast as i stated before.
So i decided to try Popcorn 4 and to my surprise it worked.
The language that is in the Movie is now only English.
I cannot even try to explain to you what happen but it worked.
I would really like to know why it worked with Popcorn 4 and it did not work with Toast " 10 and "11.
But it worked that is all that matters.
I am still curious.
                                                        Have a great day Dan
