Dragon Dictate Speech Recognition with Bluetooth headset
Q. Is anyone using a Bluetooth headset with Dragon Dictate for Mac?
A member got the newest version for OS X (includes same engine as the PC version at last!) but it is only working with the built-in microphone, not an external bluetooth headset.
A. Discussion:
   - one member noted the nuance.com website suggests OS X version doesn't support bluetooth headset; rather works with USB microphones
   - one member thought the MacSparky site might have a workaround

Building a book with iPhoto
Q. A member was having problems selecting too many photos for a photo-book to be created in iPhoto and sent for printing.
A. Discussion:
Start over with a new photo-book, and add photos one by one.

Mac G5 can't run latest software
- G5 can't run iLife 11 - requires intel processor. Stick with iLife 10.
  http://www.zdnet.com/blog/apple/apple-ilife-11-orphans-powerpc-macs/8520

- G5 can't run new Firefox 4 - requires intel processor.
In addition to Safari which works fine on G5, so do these browsers:
Opera browser v9 and v10 will run on PowerPC
iCab 4.8 will run on powerPC-based Macs

Quicken on my Mac won't talk to my Bank
Ans. Known limitation.
Workaround: Go to Bank website and download Bank (PC Financial, CIBC, Bank of Montreal) transactions directly to Mac. Then can load the transactions into Quicken.

Running Windows Apps without Windows OS?
Ans. CrossOver for Mac (a Commercial version of open-source WINE) runs select Windows applications without having to have Windows OS.
Discussion: Several members have tried this product (e.g. to run IE 7), but found it somewhat flaky, and recommended Windows vertulization (VMware, Parallels, VirtualBox) over CrossOver.
