Update on my experiences with iWeb

I decided to use MobileMe as the host for my website, at a cost of $59.99 + 9.05 shipping through Amazon.ca.
The license number came by e-mail the next day. The reasons for using MobileMe were somewhat vague, the price was
right, it is fully integrated with Apple products, and I thought I might progress to other Apple products (e.g iPad, iPod, iPhone)
in the future. Also it appears to be well integrated with Reunion, the genealogy program I use.

Once I got over my learning problems I found it easy to use and update.

In case its useful to others, my experience with iWeb:
1. Location of File: The default location of the iWeb file is "you"/Library/Application Support/iWeb/Domain.
But in order to make backup copies, and have separate files for more than one website, i moved my location to
my Desktop and renamed it.. Double Clicking on a Domain file makes it the working file.

2. iweb & iPhoto:  iWeb assumes that you have only one iPhoto Library. But I have several libraries and to use
the Photos and My Album templates in iWeb then I have to have the relevant iPhoto Library as the current one,
and to have made an Album of the set of photos I need.

3. I wanted to add a comment to some photos in an Album template. The only way I was able to do this was to
set the "Caption lines"  on the Albums page to say 2, and then add the comment as lines 3 & 4. This way it
only appears on the individual photo page. Did I miss another feature ?

4. Sometimes changes to a web page are not visible unless you Empty Cache in Safari.

5. When adding a Hit Counter in iWeb, your page must include a reasonable size Footer.
If you don't , then you cannot find the Hit Counter. I do not use Footers, so I had to add one,
add the Hit Counter, then move it to the main part of the page, then remove the Footer.
