My sister has an old 5200 CD Power Mac with OS 9.  I have been trying to help her to get onto ncf.  We can get the dial up connection - it shows that we are connected - but not get email or browse - keep getting the message that the URL is not recognized and check settings and try again.  We have followed the instructions for setting up using the Remote Access to the letter but It seems as if there are some residual settings from a previous hook-up that are causing the blockage.  Also the Email application is set up.  We are using Netscape Communicator 4.7.

I have saved her files and am thinking of reformatting her HD and starting from scratch but it is a long time since I have done that and I need some instructions re procedure.
