Cannot print from Google Maps

I often use Google Maps to find a local address.
Up to last week I could print the map on the screen using the Print command in the File
menu in either Firefox or Safari.
Now the result of that is a largely blank paper with the Google Maps logo and the address I am
looking at, but no map. Using the Print Box on Google Maps results in a new screen with a
smaller map that will sometimes print, but I really want the original larger map.

At the moment I am using Grab to get the map and then print that.

Any suggestions as to get the original print to work ?

I am using an Emac with OS X 10.3.9

Hmm, I've seen this before but don't remember what fixed it. Question: When you go to print the google map from within Safari, and the Print Dialog opens, what happens if you then press the Print Dialog's Preview button?  Does the google map show up in the Preview window?

When you print from the Safari or Firefox menu nomap shows up in Preview, just the Google border.
Using the Google Print button sometimes shows a partial map in Preview, eg. the top 1/3 of the map.

Hmm, I've seen this problem before but can no longer duplicate it. I just printed a maps.google.com map from Safari and Firefox. In both cases the map graphics showed up in print 'preview', as well as on the paper printout (Canon IP5000). I'm running Safari 2.0.4/Firefox 1.5.0.6/OSX 10.4.7.

I've added a long-shot below,

Since you tried two different browsers and both failed, I wonder if it might be something common between them? You could try looking in:

     /Library/Internet Plug-Ins
    ~/Library/Internet Plug-Ins

You can use the Finder's "Go" menu, and select the "Go to Folder..." menu item to enter the above paths. Temporarily slide out any Internet Plug-Ins you find in either location. (On my PBG4 I created an "Internet Plug-Ins (disabled)" folder at both locations to simplify this.) And try printing again. If you could then print maps from maps.google.com, you'd know it was one of the Internet Plug-ins that's interfering.

Thanks for the suggestions.
I moved all the contents of the two locations to a new "disabled" folder in the same location
and reloaded. The map now appears in Preview. So I restored the locations to their previous
contents and reloaded. The map still appears in Preview.
The map that appears in Preview is about 50% bigger to the east than what appears in Firefox,
and the map in Preview is slightly smaller than the map in Safari.
Confusing but interesting.
