At the May 29th meeting there was a discussion about playing Windows Media Player (WMP) content on an intel Mac.
Windows Media Player 9 for Mac OS X does not work on Intel Macs. And Telestream, the developer of the free http://Flip4Mac.com WMP codec for QuickTime player, has not yet shipped their planned Intel version of Flip4Mac.

Chris Girard on Apple Discussions was able to get WMP to work on his Solo Core Mini by launching Safari and Quicktime under Rosetta < http://discussions.apple.com/message.jspa?messageID=2286627 5th entry>  To force a universal binary application to run under Rosetta 'Get Info' and check the 'Open using Rosetta' checkbox.

Unfortunately I don't have an intel mac to try this out on!
