Hi All.
I have a friend who doesn't have a computer but is interested in getting one. Does Apple post product information by mail? I told him about Macs but without the internet it's hard to view all their products.
Thanks

Called them up and it looks like they don't send any promo material by mail...

why not go to a store and pick up some brochures?

AylmerQc

Yep, will probably post him something, although I've never seen any documentation about the Imac G5 at any reseller. I'm doing a bit of a collection on Mac info cards for the last 4 years but don't have anything on the G5 even though I own one of these. Bought earier this year so I sometimes have to look back on the documentation that came with it to see exactly which features I have compared to the new ones...

I suppose you could go to Apple's website and just print out the screens for each model with all their tech-specs and mail that to him. I believe fairly recent models have .pdf formatted versions of original brochures that you could download and print out and/or burn onto CD and mail them.

You can also go to www.everymac.com for info.

I'm going to look into that (PDF). Haven't seen it before but then again the Apple site has so much info it's impressive.
As for everymac.com, hadn't been there for a long time and thanks for pointing it out to me once more. I'm, as with the apple site, impressed with the help and support from the Mac community.
Thanks

Hey,

You could always call up a company like cdw.ca and ask them to send them a catalogue of their products. They sell good mac products.

Will check them out.
