This is a fun tablet, with great handwriting recognition.  Last operating system released by Apple.  I am not using it and rather than have it gather dust, someone else can have some fun (then they can sell it or pass it along).  There are websites that archive tons of software, and people who can do a variety of hardware updates--which you probably know if you are considering this little machine.

Only $50 and you can take it away.

I am a Newton fan - which model is it? I probably want it anyway, but I am looking for either an eMate 300 (world's first netbook!) or a MessagePad 2000 or better, I already have a MessagePad 120...

Newt-newt!

Heh, if you want it, I must be asking too little!!!  Nevertheless, if you would enjoy it, it's yours.  It's a 2000, with the last ROM upgrade.  I live in Chelsea, but come into Ottawa to my condo in Gloucester regularly.

I won't comment on the price - Newton fans are a fickle lot, but yum, a 2000! I'll be in touch...

Dan,

Please confirm whether you want the Newton--otherwise, your response would discourage any other interested persons from responding, since it looks like a done deal.

Thanks,
Dave

Hi Dave,

I am definitely interested! I'll pm you on this...

Dan,

I live in Old Chelsea, QC--but I have a condo in Gloucester where I am occasionally.  I'll let you know when I'll be there over the next little while.  Please use my proper email address (published in the new topic), since none of this needs to be on public display; I've never heard of publishing all this incidental correspondence on a  message board.

Thanks,
Dave
