Bought an old G3.  Upgraded the CPU to run at 1.1ghz, as long as the software that turns on the "booster" does not exceed 10.4.9... o.k., so the RAM is 1 gig and I'm running the lastesst version of Mozilla.... life is good...
I have the two upgrade discs required to upgrade to that level, but not the original OS10.2X disc (I've looked eveywhere).  So what do I do?  Hey, let's try adding Linux SUSE!  Maybe I can play Tux Racer on this thing.... WRONG!
Trashed my OSX partition.... my OS10.3 discs will not install on the drive unless OSX is already on it...  So here I sit at OS 9.2.2... (sigh).  Does anybody know anyone with an OSX.2X disc (or slightly earlier?) that will install on my G3?  -  It's just to get the ball rolling... then I'll be upgrading back to 10.4.9 right away...
Albert.
