e-mail screen

Hi,

Could someone please tell me how to get my e-mail window to "come on" as a full screen item ?  Right now, everytime I go to mail, it opens up small on my screen and I have to enlarge it to fit full screen everytime.

It "used" to open full screen so I must have done something unknowingly to change that.

Mail "remembers" the main window dimensions when you close it and restores them next time you start it. It stores that information in your user preferences which are located in your user folder's preference folder like this: ~/Preferences/com.apple.mail.plist. If that doesn't solve your problem, your preference file may be munged (tech talk for screwed-up). If you're savvy and have Property List Editor installed (from the Xcode developer's tools) you can inspect it yourself. However, for a safer alernative, you can also just delete the plist file and Mail will recreate it the next time it is started. Hoping this answers your question?

thanks for the tip = did as you suggested and it worked.  I'm back to full screen once again.
