I have a flat panel imac G4 with a 17 inch screen. The monitor has began tilting to the right quite a bit, and is very noticebly crooked.

I have searched and searched the net for a tool to fit the screws in the arm holding the monitor, and cannot find one.

Apparently this is a flaw in the iMac G4 FP design, and I also read when this problem occurs the whole neck(arm) of the iMac has to be fixed and or replaced, which I believe in my case and most cases is incorrect.

Does anybody know of a tool to fit these screw holes, and where I could get one?

Are they Torx screws http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Torx ?  Iv'e heard Apple usually uses Torx screws. If they are you need a Torx screwdriver which is available at Home Depot, Canadian Tire and probably other hardware stores.

Yes they look like a torx, but with many more notches. I'll look into it. Thanks for the advice! :o)

I have three tips that " look like a torx, but with many more notches ".  They are labelled " M5, M6, M8 ".  Never knew what to call them, can't find them on internet.

Yes I bought the Torx T-10 and it fits but does nothing? It is not the tool

The smallest one I have is the "M5" and it is about the same diameter as a T-30 torx.

As ghetto of a fix as this sounds, we cut up a business card, and jammed in a small piece into the hinge groove. Works wonders!
