tentatively soldI've finally decided to part with my Beige g3.

This is a the minitower design, with the extremely well designed flip open case. It has a 300mhz g3 processor with a 1meg cache. It has the a/v personality card installed with composite and svideo in/out. It has the stock 6 gig hard drive, 24x cdrom, and a PCI usb card. The machine has 128megs ram (one stick).

I've got os 9.2 installed on it right now. Great machine for anyone who needs scsi or who still uses os 9. I have had os 9.2 and 10.2 running on this machine. Performs great. I dont use it often enough and cant justify keeping it around. I can include the adaptor to use a vga monitor on this machine if you dont have a mac monitor.

The machine has a few scuffs and a couple marks. The hard drive is currently mounted in the floppy drive bracket and no floppy drive is installed. This machine would make a good server for os 10.2. If you use the vga adaptor you can fool the system into thinking a monitor is attached even. I've got an ADB mouse and a keyboard (the number pad does not work, but otherwise fine)

I'm looking for around $100 or best offer. jasonh@(nospam)spymac.com

Sounds like a great machine. Do you have to partition the harddrive to install Mac OS X? (Just in case I install a larger disk).

as far as i know you will need to partition the hard drive and install os x in the first 8gb, i had a  second drive in the machine, but it did not have the OS on it.
