Bootcamp - Can XP be easily upgraded

I am running XP on an iMac 10.6.8 using Bootcamp.
My only use for XP is to run Ufile (a Tax Program).
Unfortunately the new Ufile I bought for 2015 Taxes does not run on XP.
They will allow me to convert the cost to a Web based program, but I would prefer to run on my own system.

Can I upgrade XP to Windows 10 without going through the process of re-installing Bootcamp ?
Does Windows 10 run on 10.6.8 ?

There is no cost-free upgrade from XP to 10, only from 7 or 8. However, according to the Ufile website "Windows 7 or later is required" - so you may not need to go to 10.
