Lost computer password

A friend's husband had an old iMac with OS 10.4. He had it set up so that it needed a password to open up. He died and now no one can use the computer. How can this be fixed?

If you can find the disks that came with the iMac, no problem, if not, you will have to find a suitable boot CD - I have some I think, pm me if you want more help.
