So we have to have a winner in the inaugural Caroline Sci-fi Challenge. Entries include:
- "Where is Luke's tauntaun?", by Rob
- "Don't lecture me about emotions", by Caroline [Spock in Star Trek]
- "Your neutralness, it's a beige alert!", by Justin
- "Plan 9 from Outer Space", by Joe

Vote hasn't been completed yet on which was the earliest sci fi reference. Which one would you vote for?

The NS prefix on developer conference names is a reference to the Code frameworks that have the NS prefix. The code frameworks get the NS prefix from their NextStep/Sun origins.
