I've been at this for many days now and need help.
A friend brought over his PM G4 1,25 ghz cause it was acting up (closing windows and freezing up when on the net). He was running OSX 10.4 and had deleted some files,he believed, that were causing problems and now the unit was running worse. I tried repairing the permissions but that didn't work so I thought I'd install OS X10.3, for which I have the disks. The problem I have now is that with Safari, I can't go on YouTube or check Hotmail, On the former the window just closes as soon as the Youtube site pops up and on the latter, all I get is a blank white page. I tried downloading Opera and Firefox but both times the disk image is either corrupt or un-mountable. I've tried upgrading the Flash, first running a program that re-moves all existing components then install a newer version but that hasn't helped. I'm trying to get a copy of OS X 10,4 hoping that might help but anyone have a clue as to what the problem is? The computer runs fine otherwise..

OK, I managed to get a copy of Leopard and installed it. I also replaced the hard drive. I think that was the problem with freezing-locking up...
Everything so far works good..
