Out of focus photos - iPhoto 06/08

Hi all - I installed iPhoto 08 a few months ago and all seemed fine for a while.  Lately, when I went to retrieve some photos downloaded with iPhoto 06, I found 99% of them to be out of focus.....I tried re-sizing, display changes and a few other photo this and that but all to no avail.  Any ideas on how to "re-focus" my pics ???

I assume that you are talking about the fact that photos appear slightly blurry *on screen*.

I think iPhoto is applying some smoothing to all pictures, especially at minimum zoom level.

If you "zoom in" a little bit, it should disappear.

In addition, this blur should have no effect on prints or on viewing with another program (eg on the web).

Otoh, if your photos are now out-of-focus when you print them, then there is not much one can do at that point!
