Are you happy with Time Capsule?

With my recent problems re losing printer drivers and the trouble of trying to get them re-installed, it got me thinking about Time Capsule. Looked at the star rating Apple's web site and although it was something like 3.5 stars, I couldn't click on the stars as one normally does to read the reviews so I went to Amazon .com and read the reviews and many 1 or 2 stars and folks not all happy with it. What is your happiness rating with TC?
I have 3 Macs and 1 back-up ext hard drive,so every so often we''ll hook up the Macs to the HD and do a back up.(the macbook is fairly new and we had not yet don a back-up,hence the lost driver). TC would ,if it works as advertised, do the back up on all 3, I guess,without the connecting and disconnecting and it would be automatic(?).
Anyone have an ideal back-up routine or method?
