FS: 17" iMac 1.8Ghz G5

So, I'm moving across the world and don't feel like lugging this iMac with me.

It's great. 1.8 Ghz.  1gb ram. 160mb hd. Dual layer DVD superdrive. ATI Radeon 9600 graphics card, (not the low-end card that comes with the least expensive current iMac). The 17" screen is bright and flawless and I have a cordless bluetooth apple keyboard and cordless bluetooth apple mouse to go with it.

Basically, it's the same machine as you can see in this ebay ad http://tinyurl.com/2ptlgv and you can see how much that one went for this past weekend. (Except mine has dual layer dvd burner -bonus- plus bluetooth apple keyboard and mouse -bonus- but 1gb of ram.) I started to add up how much it would cost to get the same thing in Intel but gave up: I think it would be two or three hundred bucks more than that even.


I'm looking for $950, obo. (it's a bit of a comedown from the price above, but I figure it's my penalty for being too lazy to figure out the ebay procedure and mailing.)

Hardcare microsoft users should probably go intel. If you don't care about windows or only need occasional windows usage virtualpc (installed) is fine.
For the other 'big-time' apps this is a nice deal. Photoshop and office are on there and are fast, (they don't have to run through emulation), and Pages and Keynote work well too.
