1. Launch an application

activate quicksilver
type "s" [Safari --no quotes]
press Enter

2. Use contacts

a. Find and open a contact from your addressbook

activate quicksilver
type the starting characters in your buddy's last name
press Enter

b. Display contact's phone number using really LARGE text

activate quicksilver
type the starting characters in your buddy's last name
press Arrow Right
press Enter

3. Use bookmarks / history

a. Search Bookmarks

type "gr" [no quotes]
press Enter

b. Search Safari History

8. Control iTunes

type Option + Command + Arrow Left to switch to the previous song
type Option + Command + Arrow Down to toggle play/pause

Get quicksilver to show album art as the songs change.

type Cmd + "." [Calls up quicksilver preferences --no quotes]
choose the iTunes item in the left column
select "Monitor Recent Tracks" and "Display Track Notifications"
close quicksilver preferences
restart quicksilver

9. Have your computer speak text

paste text you want to speak into the dialog

10. Add text to a text file (without opening the document)

prepare target files [must be text files]
copy text to clipboard
