I'm looking for an older version of QuarkExpress including the serial hardware "key".

I currently have an up to date copy of Quark, but I want a second  copy
to install on a different computer. The only feature I reallly need in the older
version is the ability to "Get picture".  I want to use it to import designs
created in Illustrator.

Thanks

You can install the same copy of Quark on multiple macs - just don't try to run two at the same time if you're networked.

BTW: All versions of Quark have the "get picture" command - do you mean "modify picture"? Quark 6 did not come with that capability enabled - you have to go to the Quark site to get one of two xtensions that can imitate that function.

Thanks for the info but I already know
that I can run the same copy on mutltiple computers.

Of course I can't run them at the same time as I need
the hardward key.

This is the problem. I want to be able to run both copies
at the same time.

There is no hardware key for Quark Xpress. You must mean Passport. Are you using a less-than-legitimate copy? Shame on you if you are. You can purchase a copy of Quark from any major software vendor. The protection is there for a reason, if you have a legitimate requirement to run Quark on two machines at the same time - you need to buy a second license.

Unplug the computers from each other, or at least disable the connection - no network detection is then possible.

"Get picture" is in EVERY version of Quark - ???

Just trying to help.
