In the Lion's Den - Combo Updaters   
   The recent OS 10.7.3 update was posted by Apple, then pulled the next day, then reposted a few days later
   Apple recommended while it was pulled, to download the OS X 10.7.3 Combo updater

   The OS X updates delivered under Apple/Software Update... are incremental updates
   Apple always releases a Combo Updater as well. It's larger but will upgrade any previous version of the same OS X.
   Many people swear by using the Apple Combo updaters as a more reliable way of updating to each new OS X update.
