Thanks to the brilliant problem solving techniques used by my ISP, the MUGOO message board lost connectivity to the internet for almost 2 days on March 10 and 11, 2005.
The solution in place right now should not work according to the front office but the technician who actually opened up the box on the street said it would work. The guy with the pliers was right.
There may be another interruption on March 17, 2005 - or sooner if the front office realizes that the service is working and shouldn't be.
As if a connectivity failure was not enough, some script kiddie used a code injection exploit to clobber all of the skins on this board. Unfortunately, the MUGOO skin was somehow damaged, so the famous MUGOO colors are gone for a while. I have too many other things to do now. Restoring the colors will have to wait.
The software has been updated to a version that defeats the exploit.
