Hi , I just got an old all-in-one , mac performa 5200cd , works pretty well , has a dial-up connection . The computer was dropped off to me , thinking I could find a home for it . Turns out I can maybe use it to retrieve , some documents of mine from when I was younger , from a disc from my families old mac SE , which I have here too . Cannot open some of the files on the floppy , and cannot seem to load macwrte and macpaint (HA hA) , on the SE , but the performa will read the old floppies , I hope I can install the proper program to find my documents in tact . Otherwise you are free to take the computer , but I would like to try the retreval first . should be done by the time you would want to pick it up , if you are interested , That 's it let me know , Andrew .
