Ok we did try to use OS X. For many reasons (iDVD does not use MPEG2 files, OS X does not support the increasingly popular DVD-Camcorders, iPhoto cannot handle networked photo libraries shared amongst many computers, etc) Macs are not for us.
So it is on sale. It will be posted on EBay as well but If I could sell it locally it would be better.
This Mini was bought as a gift to my wife. It is the 1.25Ghz model with 512MB (Apple stock memory - not third party), bluetooth, DVD/CD-RW, 40GB hard disk. Add to that Apple Wireless Keyboard and a Bluetooth mouse (the Mac Mouse BT (http://www.dvforge.com)).
Of course still under warranty for another 11 months. Free Applecare support over the phone for another 60 days from now.
This system, assuming you can find one to buy, will cost you with taxes, shipping around C$ 1,100.00.
Selling it for C$ 900.00. You save C$ 200.00 what will buy you at least a cool iSight camera. :-)
Again it is brand new with ALL boxes, papers, software, everything original and in MINT condition.
Serious inquiries only please. I do not want to trade for anything. Just want to get rid of it.

Thanks.
Hi,
I do not want to rain on your parade, but you should check Apple Canada web site, and you will see the following,
Mac Mini 1.42 Ghz, 80 Gig HD $749.00, plus taxes = $861.35, shipping is free.
Mac Mini 1.25 Ghz, 40 Gig HD $629.00, plus tax = $723.35, shipping is free.
Here is the link,

Click on Mac Mini, and follow the story.
$900! you have got to be kidding. I think you should donate it to Charity, like the Tsunami Relief effort. I am sure someone would appreciate your materialistic generousity.

fishcake
I'm not sure if people actually read the original post but it comes with 512MB of memory instead of the stock 256MB, the optional bluetooth, a bluetooth mouse (non-apple, but similiar price) and keyboard.
So:
1.25GHz, 512MB, 40GB, Combo, Bluetooth, Wireless keyboard & Mouse = $920+tax = $1058 (shipping is free)
So that's a $158 savings plus you don't have to wait 3-4 weeks for delivery.
I'm not saying this is a deal or not, I'm just saying that it's up to the perspective buyer to make that decision him/herself but jumping all over the guy and making apple to oranges comparisons doesn't help anyone.
