SONY PD150 professional broadcast quality camcorder
Great for corporate stuff, documentaries or student film projects.
Sundance winning films "Tadpole" and "Personal Velocity"
used the SONY PD150.
A lot of info on the web for this cam, just google-it!

This cam does not have a lot of bells and whitles (like consumer cams...),
but is a very good, useful, high quality professional, serious and dependable tool!
Condition: Cam was used as a back-up by a local production company
mainly to make nature shows for PBS in the States. It shows normal
usage marks and I would qualify it as being in good to very good condition.
Bought it recently and it works great but this is an overkill for my limited needs (and budget!).
Extras:
1)
Century optics 58mm 2X teleconverter lens - great for nature shoots
or blurry background effects
(currently sells for $649CAN + tx, check vistek.ca)
2)
Sony brand CAC-12 microphone holder for PD150-170
Holds the mic higher than the regular mic holder, allows you to adjust
the position and put a large wind screen without it being seen in the
shot, even at wide angle.
(currently sells for about $175US + tx / shipping, check
bhphotovideo.com)
3)
Sony brand DVCam soft case
4)
Extra battery (higher capacity one, good for approx. 6-8 hours of
continuous shooting)
Will put this up on ebay soon, just testing the waters here to see if
this can sell locally (which I would prefer).
Sony PD150 currently sells used on ebay without all these accessories
for about $1800-$2000US, plus you have to pay shipping, taxes if bought
outside Canada, brokerage fees, etc. And you don't see the thing
before you buy it!
Asking $2000CAN for whole package if sold locally (ottawa-gatineau
area)
Call if interested. Will reply to emails when I get a chance (no Internet at home, only at work where I usually have to, well... work).
