I don't go because the meetings never coincide with my schedule... and why charge 10 bucks anyway?  We're just trying to get together to talk about Macs.

It costs about $160 to rent the room in the Sportsplex for one night.There are also other costs for domain registration, equipment rental or purchase, etc. Fotunately, MUGOO gets lots of stuff donated for free - otherwise the costs would be higher. Why should dues-paying members subsidize non-members?

If you join MUGOO, it costs you less than $5 per meeting.

I'd come but i dont live in ottawa anymore, and the user group in london is all old guys...No offence please.
