Whooo 5%! Lame.
If you have a dead iPod Mini I'm "willing to offer" $15 depending on what kind of dead it is. A lot better than the $3.45 they're offering. Thanks,
Sayyad
For all out there, we don't care "what kind of dead" it is unless it is absolutely destroyed. We would like to get a few parts that might give us a chance to repair functioning iPod Mini's with damaged parts (i.e. click wheel, shell). So if Sayyad doesn't want your iPod Mini because it is too dead for him/her, we are still interested.
Thanks
Doug

P.S. Hey son, that's a fairly rude response and unnecessary.

I'd encourage them if I had a dead iPod Mini but I don't. Great initiative as I don't recall any other places (in town or close by) offering a similar service.
Just my two cents.
Sam
PS. Sayyad, that was a rude response.
Okay, a bit rude. Definitely sarcastic. But come on, 5% off AppleCare on a new one? That's less than a decently pretentious coffee. It just seems low to me. I do apologize if I insulted you, Doug, and I do agree that a dead iPod trade-in service is a good way for a business that makes it's money by selling new iPods and repairing broken ones to get new customers an upgrade, make a bit of money and get parts for repairs. I hope your company does well with this venture, but my opinion is that the discount is too low, based on eBay values for any broken Mini that approach $80 for a 4GB model. Thanks,
Sayyad
