I might know someone interested in making you an offer. Out of curiousity,.....in you're ad, you say, one can probably find the extension cord for around $10-$15 . Now, you have been looking for one for some time , and was offered one by Stevieb. Why did you not buy that one? I, personally don't think you will find that cord for that price. Just my opinion.

I just posted that ad/request yesterday so, no, I have not been looking for long at all. The extension isn't required for the AC Adapter to work at all. These adapters are quite common amongst iBooks/Powerbooks - the 45w adapter is not specific to this laptop by any means. I didn't take Stevieb up on his offer of yesterday simply because it was too far for me to drive for something I don't really need, not because of price. The adapter works perfectly without it. If he had been closer I probably would have picked it up.
Anyway, I think I tracked down the original so consider it a non-issue.
Thanks
Someone, who I was unable to repond to, pointed out a typo on my part and I just wanted to say thank you!
