I thought that was a really well done article.
His comments on the effect on user-groups and Mac magazines is interesting. I would have to lump myself in with the people who search the internet for information about their platform, be it Mac or PC. And a lot of sites/magazines do seem to talk it up about peripherals more than the machines themselves.
