Title: Getting Classic Apps to Talk to My USB Printer
Post by: DEWLine on October 10, 2005, 09:11:31 PM
I've got one of those old Lexmark laser models, hooked up to my iBook via USB. Works fine in OS X mode, but apparently even though I think I installed the drivers for OS 9 properly in order to use it with Classic apps(Classic System Profile seems to "see" the printer, for example), I get error messages and no printing joy. I've asked around at other places, and wondering if anyone here can help me out...?

When you have a classic application open, try to choose your printer in "Chooser".  Then close "Chooser" and try printing.  I have to do this every time I need to print from the one and only OS9 app that I still use.
