I have an eMac that I no longer use but is in good shape. I can't stand the thought of throwing it out so would like to know if anyone could use it.
Hello!
Your timing is excellent. I am a grade 7 teacher who has been a Mac fan for a long time - my 1rst one was a Mac SE. I have always had at least one Mac in my classroom for the students to use. I would really appreciate having your emac. It would be used in my classroom by the students mostly for word processing and, of course, for surfing the Internet. I had a G4 tower but it died on me last year and I didn't think it was worth trying to get it fixed.
Anyway, if it is still available, please let me know.
Many thanks.

Yes, it's still available. It's in good shape with the stand, airport card, and full memory. I can either have Jaguar or Tiger (both with OS9), or Leopard (without OS9) installed on it if you like plus some other software such as Office as I don't use this software anymore. It has the keyboard and mouse as well. Please let me know what you'd like on it as well as how we can connect to get you the computer. Glad to see it'll be put to good use as it was used for homeschooling many years ago and still works great.

Hi,
Thanks for your answer. I was certainly pleased to get it. If you could install the most recent OS the machine can handle, as well as Word, that would be great.
It's sort of ironic that a machine used for home schooling will find a new home in a classroom setting.
If you tell me when and where to go for a pickup, that would suit you best, I'll be there. Things are already a bit crazy as we've already started school, but I will gladly find the time.

eMac was picked up tonight and happy to know it has a new home where it'll be put to good use!
