In most things, when we cannot get get satisfactory support from a vendor, when take our business elsewhere. An exception to this often seems to be ISPs (Internet Service Providers), who often seem uniquely to be able to convince us that the problem is ourselves, and not their service.
If you cannot get satisfactory email support from your email provider, my suggestion is to consider using a different provider.
If you are otherwise happy with your ISP, then consider moving
just your email to a different email provider. I never use the email service provided by my ISP. In addition to enjoying better email service, this practice also allows me change my ISP if I am ever unhappy with their service,
without having to worry about also having to change my email address.
You might also solicit other members for their recommendations for their favourite email providers. Here are a couple to get started:
- Apple's iCloud. Apple's Rideau Store has several levels of 1-on-1 face-to-face support available. http://apple.ca/rideau
- Gmail. I use this service. As an "advanced" user, I even have my own domain for my email, all through Google.
Does this help?
