I would like to know the procedures on how to make Disk Labels.
Some Computers have this capabilities, i have a G5, if i have this kind of Software
i cannot find it.
What is the next step i need to take.
Remember, make it simple.

Ahh, tired of using a felt-tipped pen to label your discs? <grin> Although I have not used their disc labelling software, I have had good experiences with other products from both SmileOnMyMac and Belight Software, which make respectively:
- disclabel (http://www.smileonmymac.com/DiscLabel/index.html), $35.95 with free trial (SmileOnMyMac.com (http://smileonmymac.com))
- Disc Cover (http://www.belightsoft.com/products/disccover/overview.php), $34.95, $39.95 with more ClipArt (BeLightSoft.com (http://belightsoft.com))
Both disc labelling programs appear to support the 3 common methods of getting a label onto a disc:
- printing to adhesive labels (http://www.smileonmymac.com/DiscLabel/dllabels.html) intended for CD/DVDs
- printing directly to CD/DVDs (requires an inkjet printer designed for direct-on-disc printing (http://www.belightsoft.com/products/resources/dcoverprinters.php), e.g. some epson (http://www.epson.ca/cgi-bin/ceStore/CDLanding.jsp?BV_UseBVCookie=yes), some Canon (http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?story=20100121221548287)s, etc )
- burning a pattern into a specially-designed CD/DVDs (e.g. lightscribe (http://www.lightscribe.com/))
I would
not go with the adhesive 'labels' method as it sounds like a recipe for a label eventually dog-earing and jamming a CD/DVD player.

I did put in a topic, but i must of made a mistake again. (What else is new).
I was trying to get some info on trying to make Disk Labelling.
And as easy as possible, to make sure i understand it.
Please do not get me wrong as i am not stupid.
But i am not as sharp with computer as some people are.

I tried sending a answer concerning the above message
I am really confused.
I tried finding my posting with Netscape which is the Browser that i use all the time.
but was not successful.
I then tried Firefox with the very same results.
I am posting this message thru Safari, and have been successful in reading my posting.
I have not got a clue why i cannot post with the other Browser.
I am stupid but not that stupid.
