Title: Software Advice
Post by: Jack on September 29, 2009, 01:48:23 PM
I'm about to become a Mac user.  I currently enjoy using Microsoft Money on my PC.  Unfortunately, neither Microsoft nor Quicken make a Mac version of their personal finance software.  Can anyone recommend a reliable replacement package that would be usable in Canada?  Thank you.

I have been using Quicken 2005 for Mac on my PowerMac G4 1.25MHz (and older Macs) for years now.  I like it a lot more than the old Microsoft Money that I used before I switched to Quicken.  Send me an email or PM for more info.

Brian:
Thank you for your response.  Coincidentally I learned yesterday by doing some surfing on personal financial software that Intuit does in fact intend to reintroduce a Mac version of Quicken in 2010, so I guess I'll wait until then.

Jack

If you like Open Source (and why would you not when it is your money?), there is GnuCash:

Thank you, z-mac, for your suggestion.  I'll certainly look into it.
