Title: Disk Burner (Conversion???)
Post by: eugedunn on September 01, 2009, 07:41:12 AM
Good Morning to all
I have a DVD Burner and a Lacie
CD Burner
Question: is there a Software that exist that i could install and be able to convert my CD Burner to
a DVD Burner.
My Computer is a G5 WITH A 2 GB DDR SDRAM (Version 10.5.8).
Any help is appreciated.

No, it can't be done with software.  They are what they are.  However, the CD Burner in the LaCie enclosure can be replaced with a new dual layer DVD Burner for less than $30.  Email me for more info.

Are you sure that you were logged in?  You can not otherwise send an email, and the password is just part of logging in, as you do to send messages here.  I just now tried by clicking the email icon, and was taken straightaway to my email program with no problem [I didn't send though.]

Either way, do you mean DVD "Disk Drive" [not "burner"]?  A CD drive is not, and never will be a DVD drive.  If you want one, you must buy one.  Give your CD drive to "Good Will" or some other charitable organisation.

David.

When you access the MUGOO site, does it say Hello guest or Hello plume at the top of the page.  If it says Hello guest, then you must sign in to be able to use the features of site.  You will then be able to send me an email by clicking on the envelope icon that is found below MacMoore and to the left of these instructions.
