Hi All,
I have recently become interested in the process behind creating an iPhone Application.
Does anyone have information or links to resources that provide the basics to begin?
A "step-by-step" guide would be perfect, as I am not a programmer.
Thanks,
EriK
You can join the iPhone Developer's Connection at:

Good Luck, and
Happy Mac'ing!

Oh boy. :-)
If you are not a programmer you will need to get the basics before attempting anything on the iPhone.
The first thing is, the iPhone heavily relies on a framework called 'Cocoa Touch' that is basically 'Cocoa' with extensions for the iPhone. 'Cocoa' is the framework (basically all you have available to create applications) used when developing applications to Mac OS X and its syntax is based on Objective-C (the programming language). If I had to give you a step-by-step guide I would follow this:
1. Learn the basics about an object oriented programming language (what it is, what object oriented means, etc).
2. Learn the basics about Objective-C.
3. Learn the basics about Cocoa.
4. Finally, go and learn Cocoa Touch.
As mentioned, on the developer.apple.com website you have basic tutorials/introductions/documents that introduce you to Objective-C and Cocoa.
Looks hard but you can do it. :-)

Thanks guys, I checked out the links and they answer all my questions.
Cheers!
