I have owned two Minis. I think they are nice little boxes, but they do run quite hot, the "combo" optical drive makes far too much noise, and they are troublesome to upgrade. If you buy a Solo unit and intend to upgrade it, do the CPU, RAM, and disk at the same time to avoid duplicating the disassembly effort.

What can you upgrade the CPU to? I thought it was maxed out at 450 MHz?
