In reading the material on the U3 website, it only refers to PCs, Windows etc. Will it actually do the same on a Mac? I gather that you couldn't put the software on another USB drive. Can other software such as Quicken be put on the drive or must it be specialized?
The lack of technical info on U3 at SanDisk site is appalling - they say in their blurb "any computer", but of course that's ridiculous. Will it work with an IBM 360 mainframe? Will it work with my car's ignition system? Will it work with a Mac? No, no and no.
Happy Mac'ing!
Dan
Here is a version of Firefox for the Mac that will run from any USB stick. U3 not needed.

In 2005 there were rumours that U3 would work on Macs, but that never seemed to come true ...
However, if you are running Windows on a Mac in a virtual environment (VMWare) then U3 may work.
