I have lots of Kodachrome and Fujichrome 35 mm slides that I want to digitize.
Problem- not able to locate new Nikon coolscan film scanner to purchase. Seems none available, especially the models that would be acceptable ie 5000 or 9000.
Are there any photographers in the group who can offer some advice?

I did reply with a short message --- but I guess it didn't get thru.
The upshot is that I purchased a Coolscan 5000 in total frustration after the one I had ordered, the 9000,
didn't come thru.
Needless to say I changed retailers after months of frustration.
I hope this gets thru as a posting.
