I have a 320 GB SATA II hard drive that I'd like to use with my Mac Mini, preferably via a nifty-looking enclosure like the MiniStack from Newer Technologies (though not quite as expensive as the MiniStack).
The problem is that I can't seem to find any Canadian companies that sell these types of enclosures. I can find lots of generic-looking enclosures, but I'm hoping to find one that the Mini can be stacked on top.
In addition, I also have a couple of IDE hard drives (20GB and 30GB) gathering dust (figuratively). I'd love to put them to use along with the 320 GB in a RAID connected to the Mini. However, if this would be too inefficient it's a much lower priority than just getting the 320 up-and-running.

This enclosure is USB only and if you have an Intel chip Mac Mini it will boot from this drive if a G4 PowerPC chip it will not boot as G4 needs firewire to boot from.
This enclosure ONLY uses IDE but is half the price.
IF and WHEN the fan come on the GX fan is louder than the Mac Mini Intel I have so if noise is a problem keep this in mind.
