Two "drawer"? This terminology isn't right. To be sure that you're buying what you want, you should confirm what this is supposed to mean. You can see the descriptions of Apple Intel "Core 2 Duo" notebooks here:

I'll post my reply here so everyone can help. (That's what "community" is for.) So it seems that you typed "drawers" instead of "drives". The Apple notebooks don't have two drives. It's uncommon for notebooks to have more than one internal drive - they would have to be bigger to accommodate a second hard disk.

It's good to post here if you are looking for a used computer. You might also let folks know what your budget is. A one-year old MacBook is going to cost at about $1000 CDN unless you find a very rare deal. You can look on http://www.ebay.ca for current prices.

I'd been assuming that you have someone advising you. If that's not the case, here are the questions that I would ask you.

What is it that you don't like about Microsoft Windows? Which version of M-Windows have you been using? Do you have experience with Apple OS X? Are you sure that it will make you happy?

What are your main computing activities? Games, e-mail, WWW, documents and spreadsheets?

Do you currently have a notebook? If so, what are its specifications? (If you don't know, then what are its make and model?) If I were in your place and my budget were limited, and if the notebook that you currently have met my needs as far as hardware is concerned, I would consider a better version of Windows or even Ubuntu Linux.

And I would completely disagree with z-mac advice, above.

As an older (or younger!) computer user, you want your computer to be easy to use and reliable.
Get an Apple laptop.
After suffering through Windows, your Mac might take a bit of getting used to, but you can't hurt your Apple computer by hitting the wrong key or trying to do things the hard, Windows way.

Keep it simple. Get a Mac.
Enjoy your computer!
