Hello folks,
So I've decided to take the plunge and switch to MAC....which leaves me excited, yet terrified.
I know there will be a learning curve as far as OS system and software, but my main worry is file conversion.
Most of my files for my business are done in Microsoft Publisher, and I cannot possibly redo them all...does anyone know
if Pages will convert all my Pub files, or if there's anything that can be done to convert the files?
Also if anyone out there has tips on what to expect once the big switch is done, please let me know!
Hopefully I've made a wise decision!

The first question: into what formats does your copy of Microsoft Publisher export?
Next question: is the Publisher format a common format?
If Publisher is useless for exporting files and the format discourages conversion, your best option (assuming that you don't want to re-create the source files) is to run Windows natively or virtually and continue to use Publisher.
To run Windows natively, install BootCamp (free download from Apple).
To run Windows virtually, VMWare and Parallels are your options.
