As reuse is the second law of sustainable waste management (reduce, reuse, recycle), I am looking for whomever might have a use for the following computer equipment:
SyQuest EZ 135 removable drive (SCII) with eight blank cartridges, fully operational
HP Deskjet 845c printer
Apple LaserWriter 4/600 PS
Sonnet upgrade processor G4 400 MHZ
USB/Firewire hub for PCI port for older Mac
SCII Box with connectors for protecting an external hard-drive
Software: CorelDraw 8 with manuals and serial #
I'd like to save the printer from landfill. I see that it needs to be networked using AppleTalk/LocalTalk. Do you have an AsanteTalk LocalTalk-Ethernet adaptor?

I'd be happy to take the Syquest drive and usb/firewire pci card if that's ok.
Thanks!
I would be interested in the Sonnet upgrade processor, if it still there. Regards, m.b.
I still have the box the processor card came with and it identifies the compatible models. They are all pre-G3 models: Power Mac 7300, 7500, 7600, 8500, 8515, 8600, 9500, 9515, 9600 as well as some server models and Mac clones. The only way to knowif the card can work with a G3, which I doubt, is to call or browse the Sonnet Website, here is a good place to start

The LaserWriter was never connected to my network but only to my Centris 610 which I am gutting and preparing to retire permanently. I'm sure you can find a used adaptor somewhere, I new one would be pretty pricey.
Is the processor still available? Or the FW/USB card? I have about 4 or 5 old macs and at least one of them could use the upgrade.
