Is Rogers Portable Internet (RPI) is 1.5 Mbps download and 256 Kbps upload? Why isn't RPI compatible with the new Airport Express now being built into Macs? Why does RPI require a separate and independently-powered (120v) device and why so much juice? Can I use this device in my car powered from my car's electrical system? Is there any directional aspect to the RPI device? What software must I load onto my Mac to use the device? What enhancements and upgrades to RPI are on the horizon (e.g., WiMax 802.11n standardization, speed upgrades, widening the coverage territory, U.S. coverage)?
I'd like to see a current coverage map, and the last couple of coverage maps - I'd like to see the coverage changes. I'd also like to see the wireless coverage map compared to the Cable line internet coverage map, and the DSL coverage map - any places this can reach that the others can't? Or is the only advantage to this the portability?
